Who may use an account

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a TrigPoint account. You must give accurate registration information, protect your sign-in details and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. Public pages may be viewed without an account.

The service is an engineering aid

TrigPoint provides geometry, suspension calculations and comparisons for information and analysis. Results depend on the measurements, assumptions and setup supplied and may contain errors. They are not a substitute for inspection, manufacturer instructions or advice from a qualified bicycle engineer or mechanic. Do not rely on TrigPoint alone for safety-critical design, setup or riding decisions.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, adapt for display and show that content as needed to operate and improve TrigPoint. For content you mark public, this licence includes making it available to other users.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content. Library promotion may preserve a bike and its referenced media as shared library material even if your account is later deleted.

Acceptable use

  • Do not upload unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, harassing or deliberately misleading content.
  • Do not infringe privacy, confidentiality, copyright, trade marks or other rights.
  • Do not impersonate others, manipulate ratings, spam, scrape at scale, evade access controls or interfere with the service.
  • Do not upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, probe other users' data or use TrigPoint to facilitate illegal activity.
  • Do not publish another person's personal information without a lawful reason and permission.

Moderation and reports

We may investigate reported material and remove or restrict content, or warn, suspend or close an account, when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law or protect people and the service. We will consider context, severity and repeat behaviour. You can report content or challenge a moderation decision through the Support page.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or withdraw features and cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated reasonably before they take effect where practicable; continued account use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, TrigPoint is provided without warranties beyond those required by law, and we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you accepted these terms.

Ending your account

You may request deletion in Account settings. Access is disabled and sessions are revoked immediately. The account is recoverable for 30 days in production by registering and verifying the same email, after which associated account data is permanently deleted as described in the Privacy notice.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts applicable under UK consumer law may hear disputes. Contact admin@trigpoint.uk first so we can try to resolve a problem.
